Miami Vice

Okay so as some of you know I have wanted to see Miami Vice for quite some time now, so it is no surprise that when the guys invited me to go I jumped at the chance. The guys invited me because they know I like to watch action, sci- fi and fantasy movies. I am a fan with male- type movies since I was raised watching all those types of movies and series. All I have to say is that the first movie I ever saw in the theater that I can remember was Star Trek’s: The Wrath of Kahn. Jejejeje. So here I was going to the movies with my guy friends to an action movie so that I could properly drool over Colin Farrel. Talk about being a little uncomfortable. The trick to having guy friends (who are straight) I have found is to not talk about sex or hint that you’re thinking about sex. But with this movie it’s hard to ignore sex when it has at least three highly charged sex scenes. :S I mean the scene where Colin Farrel and Li Long had a quickie in the back seat was incredibly hot, even though they were completely clothed. Yummy. See now in the future I wanna try that trick. Now moving on from the sex in the movie. I am as of yet undecided if I liked the movie or not. The movie had nothing to do with the series first of all, at least not that I remember. It was shot in a documentary type style. The action scenes were actually quite believable, guts getting splattered, brains being blown to tiny bits. What I did have the problem was in the clichéd plot line and how it all flowed as if shit happens and we just taped it. Overall in a rate from 1 to 10 I’d say it was a 6. I would rather see The Recruit or SWAT. The next movie I want to see is The Black Dahlia because it seems interesting and the murders reek of The White Chapel Murders aka Jack the Ripper.
