Goodbye 24

Well I thought it was fitting to say goodbye to my 24th year since it was a major crap- fest and say hello to my 25th year because I can only anticipate great and bright new things ahead. I'm being positive so shoot me. I can have my panic attack about getting old when I get to 35 (that's my scary age). I have to admit that last Sunday I had a bit of an upset when boobie K-lo called me that she couldn't go to the ballet. I had the horrible picture of Carrie sitting alone in the restaurant when its her birthday and her friends leave her alone. (Episode: Agony and Ex- tasy). But I got a rebound from it quickly enough because my motto this year for my birthday is "It's my birthday and I'm not going to be bothered by those who are not willing to sacrifice their time to be with me." :) Note: And if you read this Rubencito shut up about it. Admittedly my dad, once he saw how down I was about not being able to go to the ballet on Friday offered to sacrifice himself in order for me to go which was an incredible sweet gesture that I really apppreciate. But he has some thing in church that he has to go to that day so I got screwed on that one. I think it would have been fun to have father/ daughter time on my b-day. But alas K-lo came to the rescue and talked to her boss to get off work early ( I can imagine the lengths she went through to get out of it and I really really appreciate it.) My mom is baking me a cake tomorrow (and no Malu it is not Tres Leches) its my favorite cake: cinnamon with cream cheese icing.

So tommorrow I have to spify up for the ballet, for which I bought the most beautiful dress I ever bought... and its white. Yes it is white people I know its against nature. Its not a fat dress, which is the kind I almost always buy. I promise to take pics so you can see me. :) I also got contact lenses so that I can change my look when I want to. I will not however be changing my black nail polish for the ocasion. I plan to put on my Charlotte Russe shoes so that it looks dressy.

Before the ballet we will go to eat at Dom Paco and after the ballet we will come home, have cake and then go party all night long. I don't plan to get really drunk though. You all know I don't like being out of control and that is how too much alcohol makes me feel. So don't worry I won't do anything stupid. I leave that only for very special ocasions. So I say farewell because I have to finish an essay for tonight.
